SKINLAB: New Dates Announced
May 13, 2008Veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers SKINLAB have scheduled the following dates:

May 30 - Corona, CA - Angles Roadhouse
May 31 - Apple Valley, CA - Angles
SKINLAB has uploaded a pre-production version of a new song, "In for the Kill", to the band's MySpace page.
The group filmed a video for "In for the Kill" yesterday (Monday, May 12) at the group's warehouse in Oakland, California with new, up-and-coming director Jourdan McClure. The clip will feature an appearance by rebounding UFC fighter Nate Quarry and Greg Thompson.
Commented the band: "Thanks to all our homey/girls that stopped by to to participate; we had a fuckin blast!!!! Huge thanks to Jordan McClure for pulling this video off. Waaaaaay beyond anything we had ever imagined. The fuckin' set was amazing. Nate and Greg are some of the coolest cats you'll ever meet. They came in a and did their job making it look so damn easy. Huge, huge props to all the guys. Just a fuckin' rad video shoot!!"

SKINLAB released a live album, "SkinnedAlive!", on April 29 via BCD Music Group. The CD was recorded on June 3, 2007 at The Metro in Oakland, California.
SKINLAB's 1997 debut album, "Bound, Gagged and Blindfolded", was reissued on October 2, 2007 via Century Media Records. The repackaged disc features never-before-seen video footage and pictures with liner notes from founding members Steev Esquivel and Mike Roberts along with new artwork layout.
SKINLAB has set "Now That You're One of Us" as the title of its upcoming DVD.

SKINLAB's last studio album, "ReVolting Room", came out in 2002. A double-disc set, entitled "Nerve Damage", featuring alternate versions of studio tracks, several live tracks recorded on the band's "ReVolting Room" tour, plus two new songs, came out in 2004.
